Completion of structure for the extension of Psychiatric health section at Sultan Qaboos hospital – Salalah funding by RCC

Based on the co-operation between the Ministry of Health and RCC, with a funding by the company, the project of extension and development of psychiatric health section at Sultan Qaboos hospital – Salalah – has been recently completed, furthermore the equipment have been provided to the section.
The development project has included the structure of a plastic roof to protect from heat and rain, a hall for psychological treatment sessions, through which communication can be accessed through the (internet) at AL Massarah psychiatric hospital, and the behavioral treatment section at Qaboos University hospital, and 4 admission rooms, and a small sports hall, as well as a patient rest house, the section rooms have been furnished, in addition to that the sports hall and the patient rest house have been well equipped with tools, equipment and electrical items.
The psychiatric health section development project is considered as one of the projects and initiatives achieved by RCC to serve the community. Whereas, such service is regarded as one of the main basics for the social responsibility and one of the strongest base reflecting the superiority, belonging and loyalty of the company to this country.
The company is absolutely sure that its success is considered as the success of the communities supported by it. The project is also one of the successes of the co-operation between the Ministry of Health and RCC. Whereas, the two entities were co-operative to carry out the extension and development of the kidney dialysis unit at Sultan Qaboos hospital launched in 2013.
