RCC supporting the development and rehabilitation of Al-Wafa Centre at Salalah with more than 57,000 O.R

Yesterday morning, RCC signed an agreement for supporting and implementing some projects with the D.G. of Social development at Dhofar Governorate to develop the rehabilitation utilities at Al-Wafa handicapped children rehabilitation Centre  in Salalah with total cost estimated at 57,000 O.R. in order to fund the construction of a hall for water physiotherapy and to equip the sport hall with sport equipment and tool and to equip rehabilitation hall with Kinetic, pneumatic and interactive games.

The agreement has been signed by Mr. Mohammed Bin Ahmed Aideed- Acting Chief Executive Officer on behalf of RCC and Mr. Abdullah Bin Suleiman Al Sabih- General Manager of the D.G at the governorate on behalf of the directorate General of Social development at the governorate. The signature of agreement was witnessed by a number of RCC supervisors and the manager of Al-Wafa handicapped children rehabilitation Centre at Salalah, in presence of a number of supervisors from the D.q of Social development at Dhofar Governorate.

Mr. Abdullah Bin Suleiman Al Sabih praised the role of RCC in co-operating permanently the D.q of Social responsibility supported by the company particularly in which concerning the handicapped and the other social programs adopted by the Directorate.

Mr. Al-Sabih mentioned that, this agreement signed wasn’t the first one, but it was one of a series of agreements signed with RCC concerning the social responsibility taken on by the company.

Mr. Al-Sabih expressed his thanks for such a complementary role played by the Company. He conveyed the thanks of his highness Shaikh the minister of Social Development and his Excellency Shaikh the under Secretary of the ministry for the efforts made by the Company regarding the Social development programs.

Commenting on such a speech, Mr. Mohammed Bin Ahmed Aideed Acting RCC Chief Executive Officer said that the company has followed the Instructions of His. Majesty, which urge and encourage the connection of the development projects in the Sultanate with the community and to assure the permanent invitation of his majesty indicating that the Omani national should be the main target of the development, in addition to that, the company has a strong desire to play a great role regarding its social responsibility and to support the local community through the utilization of a part of its Financial resources for its ambitious program for the social investment in order to improve and promote the social services and to support the developmental project of public benefits aiming to the development and promotion of the Omani national throughout the Sultanate.
