RCC honors the World Chess Player, Mr. Said Fadhil

RCC honored the world Chess player, Mr. Said Ahmed Ali Fadhil, the national team Chess player in Wednesday morning, who won the third position in the world Championship of Chess amateur in Greece-Halkedeki town, which was held as from 18-28 April 2016. This honoring aims to support and encourage the talented employees of the Company in particular and the Omani talented people in general.
It’s to be mentioned that this is the first participation of the Sultanate in the world Championship of Chess amateurs.
About 70 participants from the different countries of the world took part in such a Championship.
It’s to note that, this Championship held in Greece applies the classic system of the nine tours for one and a half an hour and 30 seconds of thinking.
It’s divided into three categories under 1700 and under 2000, in which our player, Mr. Said Fadhil has participated. Another category is under 2300.
