Raysut Cement Company Funding Scholarships at Dhofar University

The acting Deputy of Dhofar governor, Chairman of the local committee of Omani Charitable organization at Dhofar governorate H.E. the advisor Abdullah bin Aqeel Ahmed Ibrahim at his office has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Raysut Cement Company represented by Mr. Ahmed bin Yousuf bin Alawi, Chairman board of Directors of the Company and in the presence the Manager of the Oman Charitable organization Dhofar Branch Mr. Ahmed bin Suhail bin Ahmed Qatan. The agreement includes the funding of Scholarship at Dhofar University for “16” students.
The Manager of OCO mentioned that this agreement is the second one with RCC among a number and a series of agreement concluded with private Sector institutions which aim to achieve the Social partnership and to activate the Social responsibility programs with the Civil Society institutions. In order to contribute in Human and Charitable assistance programs offered by the Oman Charitable organization (OCO) branch at Dhofar to the poor families and the like with limited income.
The Oman charitable organization branch at Dhofar is considered as one of the fruits of the Multi Royal donations which aim to assist and serve the people of such a beloved and precious Country.
