Prime Objectives

Reports to: General Manager – SLL
Function: Plant Operations, Maintenance, Quality, HSE & Environment Performance


Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead safe, compliant, reliable and cost-efficient operation for an integrated cement plant.
  • Deliver agreed production volumes, quality, cost and sustainability targets through disciplined planning, execution and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing process performance, asset reliability, manpower productivity, and cost control.


Required Skills, Experience & Qualification

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (specialized in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical).
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management / Reliability / Safety advantageous.

Experience

  • 20 years of experience in cement manufacturing with strong integrated plant exposure. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Plant Manager / Works Manager.
  • Proven track record in: process optimization, reliability improvement, cost reduction, quality assurance, and shutdown execution.

Competencies

  • Strong cement process and equipment understanding (kiln, mills, utilities).
  • Strong leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and shift operations.
  • Budget management, analytical thinking, problem solving (RCA/CI).
  • High standards in safety, compliance, and operational discipline.
  • MENA region experience preferred.
