We are looking for a dedicated & experienced Head of Internal Audit to join our team
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support CAE in developing and implementing a comprehensive internal audit plan aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Lead and manage internal audit projects, ensuring compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Identify and assess areas of potential risk and recommend corrective actions to mitigate these risks.
- Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the CAE, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a business-related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Chartered Accountant (CA), and/ or ACCA.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in internal auditing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a publicly listed company.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing audit teams.
